Effective and responsible leadership are amongst the most highly valued, yet elusive, processes within contemporary society. Recent crises in public and private sector organisations demonstrate the benefits of good and the perils of poor leadership practice. Whilst there may be agreement about the need for better leadership, however, how this is developed, understood and sustained remains a topic of much debate especially in an increasingly volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous world.

This event will give participants the opportunity to hear about the work of the newly established Bristol Leadership Centre at Bristol Business School. Drawing on a long history of research, education and development in the fields of leadership and organisation studies Bristol Leadership Centre is one of the foremost university-based leadership centres in the UK, with a growing international reputation.

The event will comprise a presentation and poster exhibition showcasing our research with impact, critical and reflective education, and engagement with practice, and will offer you the opportunity to share your thoughts with BLC faculty, partners and fellow participants.
