REVIVE- Airways is a recently completed feasibility study of airway management during cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for out-of-hospital cardiac arrest. It was funded by the National Insitute for Health Research.

The research was conducted in South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Turst, in collaboration with University Hospitals Bristol and the University of the West of England, between March 2012 and February 2013.

The full findings from this research will be published early next year, and we are now planning to proceed to a larger study of airway management during cardiac arrest in several ambulance services across the UK, including South Western Ambulance Service.
