Kevin Murray, Chairman of the Good Relations Group, will deliver a lecture entitled; 'The Language of Leaders' as part of the Distinguished Executive Address Series.

What do leaders think about the subject of communication? What matters to CEOs when they want to inspire the people around them or build the right reputation for their organisation?

These were the questions Kevin Murray put to 60 esteemed professionals, the majority of which are chairmen and CEOs of businesses, charities and non-governmental organisations to form the basis of his best-selling book, The Language of Leaders.

Biography:

Kevin Murray is Chairman of The Good Relations Group, the Public Relations Division of Chime Communications PLC.

Good Relations Group companies help clients to build trusted brands through consumer engagement programmes, customer reference programmes, B2B campaigns and corporate social responsibility advice and services. The Group also provides reputation management, crisis and issues management, political communications, and employee communications programmes.

Clients of the Group include Airbus, BSkyB, Unilever, HP, Fujitsu, G4S, Nintendo, Subway, Gazprom, Blackberry, EADS, and comparethemarket.com.

As a consultant, Kevin specialises in the field of strategic communications and leadership communications coaching.

He is also most recently author of a new book entitled: The Language of Leaders. The book has received much acclaim from the literary, and leadership worlds, alike.

Before joining Chime, he was the director of communications for British Airways and, before that, Director of Corporate Affairs for AEA Technology, the business that was floated off from the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority.

He is also a former national newspaper journalist, magazine publisher and marketing director, having started his career as a crime reporter on The Star newspaper in Johannesburg.
